Brian Siewert - National Director
Home for Brian has always been a little crazy and a lot of fun.
"Crazy" because he grew up on a farm with four brothers (no sisters) and has given up recovering.
"Fun" because he now has one son and three daughters which keep life anything but dull. He has been married to Celia for nearly 20 years and has loved (almost) every minute of it.
Brian served previously as a speaker and Regional Director for Focus on the Family Canada, as the director of the Faith at Home Initiative for Focus on the Family Canada and The Leadership Centre Willow Creek Canada. Brian established the partnership arrangement for Faith at Home Canada in working with Willow Creek, Focus and now under the leadership of FamilyLife Canada.
Prior to working with Focus on the Family, Brian served in pastoral ministry in churches in British Columbia and Alberta for 10 years. Brian has also made a living by working as a Drug and Alcohol Youth Intervention worker and radio disc jockey and news anchor. Although Brian grew up on the farm, his brothers would no longer call him a farmer. He does unabashedly love country music though (sorry).
Brian's greatest passion is to serve the Lord in connection with local churches. He is passionate as well about kids, youth, marriage, and families. Brian has spoken extensively on marriage and family throughout Canada and is the primary author of The Marriage Connection by Focus on the Family Canada. Brian continues to be one of the speaker team members for the Raising Truly Great Kids conferences in Canada.
